A close look and full review of the Think Tank PressPass 10 Camera Bag which was designed with input from professional photojournalists and offers versatile carrying options, including crossbody, shoulder bag, belt pack, and sling configurations. It has top-notch build quality, but is it perfect?
I break down its strengths like durability and versatility, and its flaws—a little too small for a full-frame camera with a lens and no water bottle holder. That's as they intend no doubt, but is it the right camera bag for amateurs in 2025? Watch to find out!
Key Features Discussed:
Premium construction and design
Compact size: Great for lenses, but maybe too tight for cameras with lenses
Missing water bottle holder: A dealbreaker?
Versatility for photojournalists and on-the-go shooters

Some details about the bag:
I think it's best as a waist bag with supporting shoulder strap but it can be adapted to other styles using double-gatekeeper clips and webbing attachments. It has a wide aperture main compartment and YKK RC Fuse zippers - which non-waterproof closures were deliberately chosen for quick and easy access to gear. It has a good, close fitting rain cover if you need waterproofing
The bag includes a removable padded insert with dividers, which can be taken out to increase space or make the bag softer and more flexible. I use it like that as a general shoulder bag and it's great for air travel. Even without the insert, the dividers can be reattached, and the bag’s base has foam padding for protection.
Capacity: It’s designed mainly for lens changes and doesn't quite work with my Lumix S5ii and Sigma lenses, but would hold smaller cameras with a lens attached. They say it can accommodate: A standard-size camera with up to a 24–70mm f/4 lens attached (vertically) plus 2–3 additional lenses, or A standard-size camera with up to a 24–70mm f/2.8 lens attached (horizontally), or 3–6 lenses, including up to a 24–70mm f/2.8 unattached.
Padded, non-slip, extra-long shoulder strap for comfort when rotating the bag around the body works well. The Tuck-away waist belt with attachment rails for modular components is very good. Multiple pockets: a front pleated zippered pocket, an interior pocket with a key loop, and a rear zippered pocket for essentials like phones or wallets.
Front daisy chains and a rear top grab handle. Includes a rain cover for weather protection.
Dimensions and Weight:
External: 12” W x 4.25” D x 6.5” H (30.5 x 10.5 x 16.5 cm)
Internal (with insert): 11.5” W x 4” D x 6.25” H (29.25 x 9.75 x 15.5 cm)
Weight: 1 lb 8 oz (680g) with padded insert; 1 lb 4 oz (566g) without.
The suggested retail price is around $129.75.
