Icicles hang suspended from the gutters, frozen mid-drip; the roof is encased in a sheet of solid ice. Fearful that their fragile puppy cannot withstand this lethal cold, Ayub and Fatima bring the animal inside for safety. It is a grueling night for the couple, juxtaposed against the brilliance of the moonlight illuminating the frozen world.
