TAM Lab 103 - Using vSphere Tags in vROps - Part 1
In this TAM Lab session, we will join Brian Wuchner (Staff TAM) to look at a couple ways to leverage vSphere Tags inside of vRealize Operations Manager.
In Part 1 of this series, our use case will be an environment where vSphere Tags have already been deployed to control backup schedules. Our first example will be the creation of a simple dashboard to identify VMs that do not have a backup tag. After that, we’ll create an alert definition on the virtual machine so business owners can see this issue and understand steps to resolve it.
