Abstract— The proposed smart irrigation system optimizes
agricultural water conservation and this paper presents a realization
of fuzzy logic in automated irrigation and water level control. The
goal of this project is to create and simulate a fuzzy logic-based
controller with a stable desired value. A humidity and temperature
sensor, soil moisture sensor in the field, and an ultrasonic sensor from
the water tank are used as inputs to the fuzzy logic control system.
The pump and valve are the system's outputs, which will
automatically open and close based on the inputs' parameters. The
design was developed using the MATLAB software's Fuzzy Logic
Toolbox and the SIMULINK environment. The controller was
simulated using a range of rules in order to test the effectiveness of
the rules on the fuzzy logic controller for the analysis purposes.
