Enid Blyton's typewriter
Enid Blyton wrote all her stories on a typewriter - she wouldn't have been able to save and print her work from a computer like we can nowadays!
Enid explained in interviews that she never liked to plan a story before starting to write it. Often, she had no clear idea where the plot was heading!
Instead, she simply allowed the story to unfold in her mind as she typed, relying on her big imagination rather than careful planning. She described it like viewing "a private cinema screen inside my head... and what I see, I write down."
