How to Test Inverter Batteries using Konnwei BT 210
Battery Testers available in India are designed for testing Starter batteries which means it checks for the Cranking power of the batteries. However, when it comes to inverter batteries, there is no need for cranking power as it is not required to crank an engine but rather act as a power source. As such the same battery tester can be used to test the battery and the CCA or cranking values are to be ignored.
Other values like resistance, State of Health, State of Charge etc are relevant and these will give an idea of the battery's health.
