Defects in Collagen 4 synthesis affecting basement membrane in kidney, inner ear,eye.
manifested by hematuria with progression to chronic renal failure, accompanied by nerve deafness and various eye disorders, including lens dislocation, posterior cataracts, and corneal dystrophy.
