osu is a game that has grown a lot over the past several years, and as the playerbase has grown, so has the featured artist lineup in response. For those that don’t know, featured artists are musicians that work with osu to make their music available for beatmaps, because while you can technically map to anyone you want, it doesn’t mean you actually have legal permission to do so, and featured artists ensure that you do. The roster has honestly become huge over the past few years, going from just under 40 artists in 2018 to over 200 as of today, and I’m sure you can relate with me when I say I only know a handful of artists in the lineup, mainly because of how big some of their names are. So I wanted to make a video looking at some of the smaller names in the osu!featured artist line up; I’m gonna play a few maps from small artists I find and react while I play, and once I finish playing these songs I’ll give the artist a final rating out of 10. Gonna try and be as authentic as I can from what I hear so just know that no ill-intent is meant by any low ratings.
