Realistic fire simulation created in Houdini 20.5 using the powerful Axiom GPU solver. I have also use GPU based Karma XPU rendering in solaris. It is very strong to get quick renders along with nVedia Optix Denoiser. At last I used nuke and its upscale technique to get hires resolution output without loosing any quality. You must use OCIO aces 1.2 or higher to get similar output.
Axiom is an amazing GPU-based simulation plugin from "theoryaccelerated" available for free with the Houdini Education license. The speed and detail it delivers for pyro simulations is impressive. I strongly suggest to purchase if needed for any commercial project.
