Helpful when drilling into metal material
Used this to create center holes that allow me to have better control when drilling into metal. It keeps the drill bit from roaming about during the initial drill process. Ofcourse you could always get a nail and hammer to achieve the same results but this is an all-in-one tool and for the price, I see no reason not to add this to my tool kit.
Rest piece at the top has a function too. Unscrewing it counter-clockwise reduces the force of impact. I will be using this mostly on metals so I have it set to the highest force of impact. I sometimes have to do it twice but it varies by the metal material itself. Recommended
