Heinrich "Hein" Severloh was a soldier in the German army that became famous for his role in the Normandy landing of 1944
Once the American troops started to disembark, he relentless on them with the machine gun and two Karabiner 98k rifles, while a sergeant kept him supplied with ammunition.
Severloh claimed to have fired over 13,500 rounds with the machine gun and 400 with the rifles, stating that he likely shot around 2000 men.
