Dynamically Format numbers in Thousands (K) and Millions (M) in Excel
Most of the time, we work on large numbers in Excel, and these quantities become high, it becomes too complicated to read or analyze those numbers. In this video, I will show you a straightforward way to display numbers using custom number formatting, where you can specify the format to show values in thousands or millions and add the word K or M to it. I have also implemented the formatting in Charts which is really awesome.
The best part about this method is that it only changes how your data looks in Excel and has no impact on the actual value within the cell. So you can still use the cell in calculations.
I will also guide you to dynamically display K or M in a single cell with conditional logic in the Custom Formatting. I am sure, you will love it.
