HOW To Copy and Paste Masks in AE (After Effects)
Ok, in this video I'll show you how to copy and paste masks in After Effects to save you a bunch of time making new masks. I had a shape in a picture I had to cut out that was sort of the same shape. On the first photo I used the pen tool to cut out every shape using a mask and then selecting subtract, one by one. It took so much time though so I found out how to copy the mask and then paste it on the same layer. Then I select a pile of the copied masks and then copied them all, what a time saver! I've been using adobe after effects for editing photos lately instead of photoshop. Hopefully this after effects tutorial will help someone save some time with masks in after effects.
