Narrated by Anas bin Malik (r.a) that the Prophet (s.a.w) said, “I and the Hour (Qayamah) have been sent (in close proximity) like these two fingers.”
[Sahih Bukhari, Kitab Ar-Riqaq (81), 6504]

Narrated by Salim bin Abdullah that his father (Abdullah ibn Umar) said, “I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) say, ‘The period of your stay as compared to the previous nations is like the period equal to the time between the Asr prayer and sunset ...’”
[Sahih Bukhari, Kitab Al-Tayammum (7), 557]

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (r.a) that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, “The gaze of the one who will blow the Trumpet has been fixed since he was entrusted with it, looking towards the throne, ready (to blow it), in case he will be commanded to do so before he blinks, as if his eyes are two shining stars.”

Allama Iqbal's Poetry on Fate:
تقدير کے پابند نباتات و جمادات
مومن فقط احکام الہي کا ہے پابند

خبر نہیں کیا ہے نام اس کا، خدا فریبی کہ خود فریبی
عمل سے فارغ ہُوا مسلماں بنا کے تقدیر کا بہانہ

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (r.a) that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, “The lifespan for my Ummah is between sixty years to seventy years.”
[Tirmidi, Kitab Az-Zuhd, 2331] (Hasan)

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (r.a) that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said, “Frequently remember the destroyer of pleasures,” meaning death.
