Tip Transparency Interview with Para App Employee | DoorDash Deactivation & More
I had to know if the Para app would be worth downloading despite the potential consequences.
In this video, I had the honor of interviewing Jimmy Thompson, who is in charge of user success & community at Para. The Para app has been controversial since the very beginning, with passionate people on both sides of the argument. We even talked about Gridwise and how that might also be in violation of DoorDash's terms of service.
For those that don't know yet, the Para app is able to show full tip transparency for every order you receive from DoorDash. Every hidden tip will now be shown from a notification from Para. Many people have said how much they love being able to see the full payout, but others expressed concern about a violation of DoorDash's terms of service and risking possible deactivation from the DoorDash platform.
