In this Canva tutorial, I’ll show you how to create an easy animated Christmas card video — perfect for sending jolly, personalized holiday greetings to family and friends! 🎄🎁✨
We start by choosing a Jingle Bells instrumental as the backing track and setting the main frame to 16 seconds, matching the exact length of the music clip. I then change the background to black to give all the holiday elements a bold, festive contrast.
Next, I layer multiple copies of a snowflake particle animation from Canva, placing them one after another so they fade seamlessly using Canva’s fade transition. To soften the effect and allow decorations to stand out, I slightly increase the transparency of the particle layer.
Throughout the video, I add various Christmas graphics — each timed so different elements appear as the snow particles drift across the screen. One of these elements is a Christmas present generated with Canva AI, demonstrating how easy it is to blend AI creations with traditional Canva graphics.
