Using a Noise Gate with a Built in FX Loop
As a blues player, who dabbles in heavy guitar stuff as well, I'm always torn about using a noise gate. However, I have discovered that using one with an FX loop can make a massive difference to the overall noise without killing the sustain and dynamics!
