AIMS Global Options Install License
Before you can configure and use any of the products within the Avatier Identity Management Suite or AIMS, you need to license the software. You can license the software online if the AIMS server has access to the Internet, and is allowed to initiate a connection to the Avatier License Server on port 443.
To license your AIMS product, start at the AIMS Configuration user interface and select License Status under Options. Select Install License. Enter the License ID string you received from Avatier, and the email address associated with the string. This information was sent to you, or someone in your organization via an email communication from [email protected]. Once the string and email address are entered, select Get License. A connection is initiated to the Avatier License server to retrieve the license file and apply it to your installation.
After the license is applied, you return to the License Status screen. Anytime a new license is applied, you must restart the web application.
