Learning how to learn

Learning to learn urges the Barbara Oakley's book "Think like a mathematician". (A mind for numbers. Hou to excel at math and science)

This is a very useful and necessary book. Students, pupils, post-graduate students Mast just Read.

So "adults", I also useful to apply techniques and methods from this book, when we learn something new (foreign languages, for example) or acquire new skills.

Here's what it says in the abstract:
"From the publisher
It is considered that mathematicians are people, endowed with remarkable intellectual abilities that must be developed from childhood. Most of the accuracy and consistency of mathematical thinking is not available. Barbara Oakley, PhD, this book proves that everyone can change the way of thinking and master the techniques that are used by all specialists in the exact Sciences. She encourages readers to train your brain and confirms specific examples that everyone can change the way of thinking and master the techniques that explicitly or implicitly used by all specialists in the exact and natural Sciences. After reading this book, you will learn: to effectively solve problems from any field of knowledge; master the technique of interleaving (interleaving different types of tasks); learn to "compress" the key ideas so that they were easier to keep in memory, and learn about the capabilities of your brain very much."
