This panel session brings together scholarly communications colleagues from around the world who face and/or are trying to address the challenges of global working. They discuss issues such as synchronous versus asynchronous engagement, language barriers, being inclusive while avoiding the burden of diversity tax, and more. They share their experiences and lessons learned, with a focus on practical ways to make it easier to ensure that there is equitable representation from a diverse range of voices and perspectives in the conversations and decisions that will impact the scholarly communications/open research community.
