Hey Guy,
Ever Wondered How to do motion tracking on your objects in Final Cut Pro X? Well, now you can do it pretty easily with the Pixel Film Studios Surface Tracker. For such a nominal price, it does the job pretty well.
NOTE: Not compatible with the M1 MacBooks yet.
Motion Tracking is one of the things which has always been hard in Final Cut Pro x, especially because there is no inbuilt way to do so.
While some plugins do the job flawlessly, some plugins like MotionVFX seem to be the best, however, it is 5x the cost, which sometimes I do feel is unreasonable.
With the surface tracker plugin, you can do object tracking at a cheaper price. It includes something branding over walls, objects which are moving, etc.
