This is the terror small animals experience in the forced swim test, an archaic & inaccurate experiment that needs to be left in the past.
The so-called “forced swim test” —also known as “the behavioral despair test”—to evaluate potential antidepressant drugs is a widely used experiment. This inhumane and worthless test needs to be prohibited.
