In this video, it's important to note that people don't read the laws and don't think that presidential and parliamentary elections are the second most important means of governing the country. The first and most important is the direct participation of the people in governing the state, through local self-government.
People have forgotten how to read and think! Text of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus, link:
Article 3. The sole source of state power and the bearer of sovereignty in the Republic of Belarus are the people. The people exercise their power directly, through representative and other bodies, in the forms and within the limits defined by the Constitution.
Think about it: have you ever seen a single law signed? The Constitution, the Resolution on the 2020 Presidential Election Date? Anything at all?
You don't understand why every trolleybus inspector has a dashcam, but not the polling stations? The explanation is simple – it's all theater, where they decided not to spend money on props!
And just imagine the election process: you sign a register confirming receipt of a ballot (another meaning of this word is a sick leave certificate), then you tick the form, cast your vote in the ballot box (another meaning of this word is a trash bin), and walk out empty-handed, handing over to an unknown person the right to decide for you how to manage factories, forests, rivers, land, and your children's future, and receiving nothing in return!
Even after buying ice cream at the store, you still have a receipt! And here, nothing? Why do you think that is? Because you can't give anything to someone who's incompetent: they'll lose it or break it!
So, on that positive note, I wish you and myself more common sense, to learn to read and think, and to act like a proper Human Being!
