If it is described as “the oldest profession in the world,” it is because the pursuit of pleasure has always accompanied humanity’s journey.

But often, what clients are looking for goes beyond the physical sphere: they seek closeness, dialogue, someone who will listen to them and help them escape, even if only for a moment, from the difficulties of everyday life.
We flew to Austria to enter the most famous b0rdello in Europe, Wellcum, to meet the people who experience it every day, both as clients and as workers, and to try to answer a question that is as simple as it is complex: what is happiness, really, in here?
