In Chapter 2, head to the Main Lab where the game will show you a brief tutorial. After the lockdown starts, use Kinesis (LT/L2 + B/Circle) to grab one of the poles with glowing tips off the ground. Then, throw (RT/R2) it at one of the necromorphs.
