David Solano is an environmental and human rights activist attending Regis High School in New York City, where he competes on the Speech and Debate team that has won local and national tournaments discussing social justice topics. He is a lead performer in the school’s theater program, the president of liturgical music in campus ministry, and is the co-editor-in-chief of The Eagle social justice publication. He founded the St. Ignatius Loyola Migrant Accompaniment Center, providing ESL tutoring to migrants and managing the 30+ volunteers and is the president of the Kino Border Initiative NYC Chapter.
