Self administration of Percussion lung Therapy.
We talked about getting yourself in shape for that moment when you catch the virus. You got all your medications and you want to have a mild case. The hypoxia (low oxygen in your blood) in the beginning is not noticed. Some people in Italy reported bluish discoloration around your lips or tongue, without other symptoms. Eventually the virus gives a viral pneumonitis eating up the surfactant (a substance necessary for the oxygen exchange) in the alveoli, making them collapse. We can prevent that by avoiding an opportunistic bacterial infection (that’s why we give Zpak) and preventing the lungs from total collapse . Since we are in isolation,you may find yourself alone, that is the reason for this video. And believe me, from watching patients with COVID-19 pneumonitis, it works!...so we are not totally helpless.
