LYRICS:
"I hope one day they'll see like you did
a beautiful mistake
and they keep telling it's just a phase
but I'm still singing
Ups and downs in my life
they don't mean anything
my love
will tell me "one more try"
nurturing my deepest dreams
I can give you what you need
my love
Everytime you owe me nothing
you sacrifice everything
awake at night, I hope your heart will sync to mine
believe my heartbeat will never fail
just hold me tight
and see yourself through my eyes
I saw you turn to grey and lose your flame
I held it with my hand
and they would not believe (in) you like I did
but we're still standing
In the heat of the night, feed your empathy
our fire could never be replaced,
by the passing of the moons and the thunder of the storms
oh no
Everytime you owe me nothing
you sacrifice everything
awake at night, I hope your heart will sync to mine
believe my heartbeat will never fail
just hold me tight
and see yourself through my eyes
Cross my heart and hope to die
I will never leave your side
so promise me you'll never change
you and I see eye to eye
Everytime you owe me nothing
you sacrifice everything
awake at night, I hope your heart will sync to mine
believe my heartbeat will never fail
just hold me tight
and see yourself through my eyes"
