Hey everyone, it's Lily. Lately, I've been thinking a lot about the news surrounding social media bans and the new massive lawsuit against Meta. We always talk about how addictive these platforms are for children and teenagers, but are we completely missing the bigger picture?
Today, I'm taking a step back from being a "content creator" to just talk to you as user. We'll chat about the recent jury trial in California, the age bans in Australia, and what growing up with restricted access taught me about curiosity. But more importantly, I want to share my thoughts on a completely different group of people who are incredibly vulnerable onlineand why my own personal experience with being scammed taught me that age doesn't always protect us.
