Water Lock Moisturizer – Surprisingly Effective as a Day Cream for Dry Skin
Even as a mature woman with post-menopausal skin, I prefer lightweight moisturizers for daily use during the summer. I’m a desert-dweller and professional skincare writer, so I’m embarrassed to say that this product is the first I’ve tried from Tata Harper.
Lately, I have an appreciation for pump-style jars because they’re more sanitary and easy to carry when traveling. For my skin (fundamentally normal but skews dry due to Retin A usage) two pumps are sufficient to hydrate my face, neck, and decolletage. Tata Harper’s Water Lock Moisturizer has a beautiful light citrus scent and absorbs into the skin quickly. It doesn’t interfere with sunscreen or makeup either … just be sure to let it absorb completely.
Closing Thoughts: I’m especially pleased with its silky texture and inclusion of orange peptides, which lock in hydration and make skin look more smooth. The brand made this as a refillable jar, so I will probably buy a refill when next summer rolls around. 5 stars.
