Loop De Loop: Rocktopus Animation
And now for something completely different! We had a week to create and animate a character for an online animation competition called Loop De Loop. I felt the character fit the music we had to work with and looped as per the entry requirements, but personally the task was more about learning animation and IK rigging in After Effects. I'm pretty happy as I made it to the final selection despite the time constraints. It was a nice aside from the 3D work I normally produce and was part of my work based learning for the animation departement, rather than my Games Design course. Given more time I'd put in some strong highlights and shadows, and have a little more animation on the character itself.
