Many users get stuck looking for this feature inside the Instagram settings, but it actually requires linking your account to a Facebook Business Page first. Steps to Add Admin:
Log in to business.facebook.com (Meta Business Suite).
Click on Settings (Gear Icon) in the bottom left.
Go to Users People.
Click "Invite People" and enter their email address.
Select "Manage" (Admin access) and choose the Instagram account you want to assign to them.
Send the invite! The user must accept it via email.
Important Note: The person you invite needs a personal Facebook account to accept the admin role.
