Check out this adorable baby elephant who at only a couple of days old is already splashing about and enjoying the water. Anne Laing, from South Africa, captured this beautiful moment in Addo Elephant National Park in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. This baby elephant played and splashed in the water until its mother decided to call it a day as the area was becoming very crowded and dangerous for her child. Anne said: "The baby elephant featured is the youngest baby elephant I have ever seen in the water at Addo Elephant National Park. "Literally only a couple of days old. Usually, you'll only see babies that are a couple of months - never this young. "As soon as I saw just how young and tiny the baby was- I knew it was a very special sighting- so made the most of it. "I was able to shoot both photographs and a video clip- quickly before the mother decided it was best to get out of the water as it was very crowded with adult elephants and just by accident the baby could have been hurt."
