The way scenes and patterns work is bit of a mystery to beginners. I remember when I got my MK1 10 years ago it was the most difficult aspect of Maschine. But once you have a good grasp of how they work you'll be able to express yourself more freely and lay down and try new ideas very quickly.
In this video I use only the Maschine MK3 to navigate the scenes and patterns without using the mouse and the computer screen. It's not a complete tutorial, but a good start and will hopefully help you be less confused bout how the whole system works.
