Switch Between Timecode & Frames in After Effects
How to switch between video timecode display (hours, mins, secs) and Frames based on where the CTI (Current Time Indicator) or Playhead is located on the Timeline.
Video Timecode: Hours: Minutes: Seconds: Frames
Frames: The Frame Number will be visible above the timeline instead of time
Keyboard Shortcut to Switch Views:
Cmd (Mac) or Ctrl (Win)
How To Switch between Video Timecode + Frames Display
1. Open Composition
2. Go to Layers Panel
3. Hold down the Command Key (Mac) or Control key (Win)
4. Click on the Timecode Display at the top-left of the Layers Panel
5. With Cmd or Ctrl Key pressed, click again to switch views
