Do you really NEED a Cloudlifter CL-1 Microphone Activator to make a Shure SM7B sound good? Take a listen to these audio tests (timestamps below) and make up your own mind! Today I ran tests using it for vocals and acoustic guitar into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (3rd generation) interface. These tracks are absolutely naked. I haven't added any EQ or effects to the final tracks so you can hear what this rig sounds like straight out of the box. This is a great little podcast or home studio setup! Tell me what you think in the comments and please subscribe to support the channel. RAD giveaway coming at 500 subs!
