Modders are turning Persona 3 Portable into FES...
As a part of the Persona 25th Anniversary, Atlus recently announced at the Xbox conference that the modern persona games such as Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal will be seeing a rerelease on the Playstation 5, Xbox Series X, aswell as PC on Steam, and even as announced the day of uploading this the Nintendo Switch which was announced at the Nintendo Direct, However some people were upset with the decision to port Persona 3 Portable instead of Persona 3 FES due to many gameplay changes that were made in Portable. One of these aspects that isn't being touched up in the remake is the models, with the game still using the low poly PSP models and Waifu2x upscaling for textures, However thankfully modders are porting Persona 3 FES' character models, aswell as using FES to create some new backdrops for Portables visual novel section
