I Tried to Draw Cillian Murphy… Did I Get It Right?
I tried to draw Cillian Murphy for the first time… and honestly, I wasn’t sure if I was going to get the likeness right. ✏️
This portrait was a real challenge for me. I faced quite a few problems while drawing—the proportions, facial features, shading, hair, and especially trying to capture the character and expression that make Cillian Murphy so recognizable.
But I kept going, learned from my mistakes, tried different techniques, and finally finished the portrait.
Is it a 100% match? Probably not. 😅
But this was my honest attempt, and I’m genuinely happy that I challenged myself and learned something from it.
To all Cillian Murphy fans: this drawing was made with respect and appreciation. I didn't intentionally make anything wrong or disrespectful. Every part of this portrait represents my own effort as a beginner artist trying something difficult for the first time.
I’m still learning, and that’s what I love about drawing—sometimes the result isn't exactly what you imagined, but the process teaches you something you didn't know before.
