Hey guys, John here with realtruck.com. Today I want to show you how to install the Skyjacker Hydro 7000 shocks on this 1999 Ford F-250. All right guys you can see here we've got our shocks out of the box. They come with everything you need to get these on your truck. Comes with your bushings, your steel spacers, your boot, the strip to attach the boot to the shock and also your sticker to put onto the shock so that way you can show off your Skyjackers. And as you guys can see here this one's all together, this is what they look like when they're all put together. This is what they look like when they come in the box.
All right, so we've got everything set up here ready to go but the first thing we need to do is go ahead and put our shocks together. And what I'm going to do is I'm just going to use a little stuff to make it slide, make the bushing slide. Just smear it inside the eyelets and it doesn't, you don't need a lot, just need enough to make it a little slippery. So that way the bushings will slide in easy. Then once you have that then you can go ahead take the bushing and really simply line it up and it'll push right into the eye slot, just like that. And then we'll do the same thing with our center metal pieces. Just put a little stuff on it. You can use like Vaseline or something along that lines or any type of lubricant just to help these slide in easier and then be all set. 866-554-0581 Free shipping for orders over $100!
