The Horizon 2040 project brought together 130 leading Russian experts in demography, ecology and climate, energy, technology, space, healthcare, food, socioculture, and economics to determine Russia's place on the global stage in 2040. Understanding the direction of global and Russian socioeconomic trends will allow us to formulate a unified vision of the future and attempt to develop long-term development strategies and create specific action plans. What scenarios for Russia's subjectivity can be realized by 2040? How and with whom can Russia build its living space? How can we prevent Russia's disintegration and create our own macroregion?
