We Explored A Town Made of Glass!
It's time to take a tour of Cambridge, OH in this latest VLOG as we check out the rich history and why it's one of the most well-known places among glass collectors in America. Exploring downtown there's definitely some cool statues, but also the really elaborate architecture of the Cambridge courthouse. In the 19th century, Cambridge was known for it's booming glass production. Times have changed, but it was a key reason why Cambridge was able to grow the way that it did and helped establish that old American feel from its 19th century roots.
Small town American towns like Cambridge are the foundation and backbone of America's history. We got to visit the National Museum of Cambridge Glass and one of the locals that worked there shared the story of how rich the history is around glass and a lot of other great information.
Cambridge is so well known that there is an annual Glass Show and several other well-known glass related items that are named after Cambridge. If you ever see yourself shopping for glass or shower doors and you see Cambridge in the name... now you know.
