Here are some products I've tried during training and can wholeheartedly recommend:
Practicing recall under supervision – always a good idea! Use a long line:
Long line - our Biothane line WITH hand loop (unfortunately, these are expensive everywhere)**:

Without hand loop**:

Good for training: Leather long line: A beautiful, oiled leather line (these aren't cheap either, but incredibly versatile, also for dog sports, e.g., mantrailing)**:

In brown:

Zorro's puppy harness - with a very good fit - no muscles or blood vessels are constricted**:

Want your hands free while training? Use a Petbag**:

After training - reward with play :-) OUR FAVORITE TOY:
The bathing cap chicken, or rather, unfortunately, just the "forester" (who, by the way, isn't actually a forester, but a Bavarian**):

The funny toy pheasant, Zorro LOVES it:**
