Art Hack Paper Mache clay embellishments
Hello my crafty friends! I've been working into the mornings most nights this week and I've been up to all sorts of crafty things. I had some paper mache clay left over from a prop build and I make some pretty nifty paper embellishments for your art in this video. Please share your creations and drop in and say hello. Paper Mache Paste
1 Cup Elmer Glue all glue
1 Cup Liquid Starch
6 Cups all purpose flour
7 Cups water
Mix mix mix and store in fridge for a few weeks.
Careful mixture can go moldy if stored to long.
Paper Mache Clay
1 Cup joint compound
6 Cups paper mache paste
2 Cups water
Cellouse fiber or toilet paper/newspaper
Mix joint compound, paper mache paste and water
Add cellouse fiber a few handfuls at a time. Once mixture begins to become more clay like add smaller amounts of cellouse fiber till you achieve clay like texture.
Store in fridge a few days to weeks
Before use knead clay well.
Liquid Starch diy
1 Cup water
Bring to boil
Add 2 tsp cornstarch
Add 3 tsp cold water
Mix and store in sealed glass jar in fridge.
Can be stored for months
