Knocking in the suspension. What's causing the knocking and what to check first.
A dull thumping noise has appeared in the rear of the car, in the suspension.
My car is a 1996 Honda CR-V RD1.
An inspection revealed that the stabilizer bar bushings are worn, and the stabilizer links also need to be replaced.
I replaced the links and put some pads under the stabilizer bar bushings.
Now it's quiet!
