We are Pat and Cori, two millennials from the states. We moved to New Zealand in 2014. We built a tiny house in Christchurch, New Zealand and lived in it for 5 years while we saved for a big house! Our big house was finished in December of 2020. *Who are we? Pat and Cori, a biracial married couple living in New Zealand! We met in 2012, got married in 2017 and have survived living tiny for 5 years!
*Did you build your tiny house yourselves? Yes! It took us 9 months and cost 15K. We spend another 5k on our solar system. We moved into our tiny house in November 2015, and moved out in December 2020.
*Why did you move to New Zealand? Cori was getting her masters degree in Business Management from the University of Canterbury and Pat wanted an adventure!
*Where do you live? We live in Waitati, a small town outside of Dunedin, New Zealand.
*What do you do for work? We own our own business Pico Engineering!
*How much does your tiny house weigh? 2.4 tonnes!
