How to Change the Font Style in Notion

Notion gives you three font options to choose from, and switching between them is quick and easy.
➡️ Open any Notion page with text on it.
➡️ Click the three-dot menu (Settings) in the top right corner of the page.
➡️ You'll see three font styles to choose from: Default, Serif, and Mono.
The Default font is Notion's standard clean, modern look — great for everyday notes and work.
Serif gives your text a more classic, editorial feel — perfect for writing, journaling, or any page where you want a polished, document-style appearance.
Mono formats everything to look like code, making it ideal for technical notes, documentation, or developer workflows.
Changes apply instantly, so you can preview each font style in real time and pick the one that works best for your content.
➡️ Bonus tip: Just below the font options, you'll find a Small Text toggle. Turning this on shrinks your text slightly, letting you fit more content on the screen at once — super useful for long pages or dense notes.
