Garner HDTD-8800 Large Drawer Degausser is used to erase and eliminate data. This unit complies with NIST, PIPEDA, HIPAA, PCI DSS, GLBA and other requirements for the permanent removal of data from magnetic storage media.
Degaussing is the safest way to eliminate data. Overwrite and SecureErase are not 100% elimination. The HD-3WXL has been independently tested and verified for complete erasure using physical analysis of disk platters.
