This is a superb example of a Lectros system that clearly does not work. The owners complained to Dampshield, who gave them the CLASSIC damp industry response: Oh, you do realise that we used a 'damp meter' to diagnose 'Rising Damp' and sell you the system, but we have to use a carbide system to see if the wall is wet. We will charge you money to come and tell you our guarantee is worthless, and please bear in mind - Condensation is often diagnosed as Rising Damp!
More on the website - photos of the installation, and information about how and why it doesn't work. Bear in mind these snake oil systems are NOT approved for use in this country. They have a very dubious history in other countries. This is the second detailed case history of one of these not working , and we have more to tell.

Please - measure humidity in your home, and make sure you keep the Relative Humidity below about 55%. In 99% of cases you won't get damp problems!
