Make For All: Developing Commitments to Expand Maker-Centered Learning

In 2019, Citizen Schools’ Make For All initiative announced 50+ commitments, representing 295 organizations and partners in support of maker-centered learning in the U.S. These new partnerships, collaborations and programs will serve more than 768,000 students in 149 communities over the next three years.
Now, more than ever, we’re seeing how important it is to create inclusive, equitable and engaging learning opportunities for students. Make For All is launching this year’s call for commitments for maker-centered learning at Fab X Live! In this workshop, you’ll learn more about how you can use commitments to grow support for your efforts around maker-centered learning. You’ll hear from several Make For All commitment makers about their experiences developing commitments and the impact it has had on their work. You will have an opportunity to begin brainstorming your own commitment.
