This video is a follow up to share my thoughts and experiences with the new Silent Hill 2 Remake. As a huge fan of the original for 22 years, this is easily my most anticipated video game ever, so this was a very big deal for me! How did it turn out? Watch and see!
It took a while to play through this intense game, as my health is not great right now... but playing over multiple days and in short segments... I made it. So worth it!
NOTE: There is spoiler talk and gameplay in the later part of this video! The normal gameplay sound is a bit low, but the cut scenes I show have normal volume levels (I added that in afterward).

UPDATE: Right after I posted this video, Bloober Team posted a new 1.04 patch that seems to have added Shader Pre-Cache, DLSS Frame Gen, NVIDIA Reflex is now active when DLSS frame generation is enabled, FSR Frame Gen, and sorted some glitches, etc.
Without Frame Generation I get around 80 to 100 fps. With Frame Generation I get a steady 120 to 144 fps! There is still the odd transversal stutter... but the game is running much better for me than before!
The dual sense controller now works for the speaker / radio static correctly (no need to disconnect and reconnect it)... but... it still loses haptic feedback after some time. :(
=================================================
My PC is running the game on Max graphics settings, 2K, DLSS Quality, Ray Tracing On and chromatic aberration manually disabled.
PC: i5 13600KF CPU, RTX 4070 Ti Super GPU
screen: 4K, 144Hz with VRR

Note: In this video I was using an "Ultra" mod that fixed some graphics glitches, added DLSS Ray Reconstruction, and DLSS Frame Generation. So some of the visuals are slightly different than the game normally had. (some better, some worse). So its not the same as the game running with the latest patch!
